My oneplus 3 turns off when dropped from 2ft or so, even when I'm using a decent rubberised cover. This happened the 2nd time hence I'm worried. Does anyone have the same issue? Can anyone help me with any suggestions?

Maybe you shouldn't drop it then. Sounds like a habit with the way you describe it

Try in from 10 feet as that will reset the internal computer thus it will work forever more.............

You know there is a small button on the side, for turning power on and off etc. it's quite useful feature they added... gone are the days of having to drop against a hard surface...

Seriously though, I would imagine the power behaviour of the phone on being dropped is listed as 'undefined' - so if it turns off, turns on, no changes...then who cares? It's if it turns on or off correctly after dropped that matters, surely?

That's quite a lot if you ask me. I rarely drop my phone and by that I mean like once or twice over a month or two

Try to prevent the drops. And be happy that the online turns on after you drop it.

    If not : RIP phone
