Mainly I've focused on fixing the primary issue:
    Bending and balancing the scene.

    Here are 2 results. Rotated.

    Centered.

I think it would be better to shoot this from different angle to add more drama.

    Maybe this.
Here i've done more then a casual edit. I have also removed some things. But mainly the crop helped to balance the scene.

What are the general things/settings we need to keep in mind while using snapseed or any other software.
    Thanks,

    TibiTibi , Nov 30, 2019 :
    Before I start
I want say that there is many possible views, tastes. I'm not a professional photographer. I don't want to say that my edits are the best you can achieve. I think there is not an universal setting, edit.
I take it as my hobby.
Most of the edits which I've done here were done in Snapseed or PSX and you can find that i use almost the same tools:

    • Tune
    • Details
    • Contrast
    • Crop
and sometimes these advanced tools too:
    • Vignette
    • Perspective
    • Brush

All of them has its own adjustments.
Each of my rethink was finished with different adjustments.
It is about to get familiar with each tool, their sliders and how it affects the photo.

    Keep playing.

On the other hand you should also think about what do you want to get:
    • Minimal fix of exposition.
    • Correction of the scene, composition
    • Change the visual experience, expression
    • Totally change to something unreal rather artistic
    • Also the original picture should have something inside what catch me.
So I should repeat myself that not all clicks are photos.

First thing is to practice a lot and learn taking photos.
The after work like editing or postprocessing and in my case the rethink is just the bonus.

Visit the photography subforum to find a lot of ideas and hints related to capturing photos.

    1187775-547f02ac2a3079ca9c937722a73725d2-03.jpeg

PS: When I don't have the original photo just the uploaded low resolution then it is really hard to tune.

Just a hint: the sun is too dominant and overexposed i would be happier when it is not dragging the attention from the scene.

    Something like this.
This is not the final results just an example how it looks when the sun is somewhere else. I can focus on the foreground.

    Here is my rethink.
I have tried ti dig out as many details from the click as was possible. Fixed the horizon, tuned the shadows and details, cropped to 1:2 horizontally.
    PSX_20191130_180242-01.jpeg

As extra - adjusted the white.

    Welcome.
So you have tried to make it minimalistic, a little bit abstract and monochrome. Good idea. Good scene. Good job.

So you left only my imagination to focus on detail.

    Let's see your template:
    1187515-d8938f6364d7e0470cf4a4c7b1ec768e.jpg

Symmetry. I have it gently corrected.
    1187515-d8938f6364d7e0470cf4a4c7b1ec768e-01.jpeg

So I have played with lights and shadows.
    1187515-d8938f6364d7e0470cf4a4c7b1ec768e-02.jpeg

    and depth effect.
    1187515-d8938f6364d7e0470cf4a4c7b1ec768e-03.jpeg

In finale I have tried a more minimalistic pattern.
