I shot the following photo a while ago while we had a photwalk in a school project. The place was recommended by the teacher and I managed to get this shot.

This was my first editing. The colors are bit unnatural but I like it. This one is not cropped.

Now I tried a second attempt for editing the photo. This one has a more natural color space and I cropped it too. The focus of the eye is moved to the bridges.
The picture lost a bit of quality by the editing.

This is the original photo that was captured by the camera.
For me the colors are a bit boring this non-edited version.

    About the photo:
    Camera: Canon EOS 600D
Lens: 18-135mm kit lens by Canon
    f/22, 1/80, ISO 200, 18mm
    Editing: Snapseed
    Location: Elbbrücken in Hamburg, Germany

WOW, Thank You @TibiTibi, this only proves there is no "crappy photo" when you have friends that could actually make something of it... :D

ps: obviously they won't enter the Contest, but I don't care, I really am thankful, surprised, and amazed what both of you (yourself and @cdnfarmer ) did with the edits, such a lovely gift and I feel... honoured and grateful, especially since I really think highly of you, and admired your very awesome photography sets ;), amoung other things you "provided" to the Community itself

Also your thread (s) really are great Tibi, hope you will write them forever, even if I spend my time mostly in the shadows, I really like such great quality threds, even if if not a hardcore photography buff, I still find them useful and interesting, if nothing else they definitely make are great reads for anyone!

    Thank you for visiting rethink.
Don't forget the first rule of this thread.

    I have selected different.
So I recommend to go closer to the bridge and you can this way separate the first bridge from the other two. Try different heights/angles. Get close to the ground.

Then you should keep the horizon / water in level. Use composition grid.

Also my blues are more blue then it should be.

During golden hour it could look like this.

    Thank you for these words.

You have tried to hide the photo into the darkness and mist ;)
But it was there. We have seen it

There are also crappy clicks where nothing helps
