on the oneplus 7T device their is a dynamic pinkish effect due to the light from the fingerprint scanner i am not sure that this happens only with my device or with every 7T handset se the difference in the picture in one pic the fingerprint scanner is enabled and in another it is disabled we can clearly see the pinkish effect on the display

Are you talking about the animation which appears when you place your finger on the fingerprint?

If yes, then that can be changed to your preference under settings. Settings > Customization > Fingerprint Animation

I realized this too. I think the screen calibration for the lock screen(finger scanner) is different than your setting. Even though I set my screen calibration to Vivid, the lock screen is still looks more brighter(pink-ish).

The exact same thing happens to me and I don't know how to solve this problem. Not only does it happen with the lock screen, it also happens with any application that requires the fingerprint to open the application. I hope it will be fixed soon with some update, because it is quite annoying.

It's a fingerprint scanner issue. It needs light and so it stops your calibration settings and after unlocking, it reverts back. +it's more of Yellow tint not pink try Turquoise - dark blue live wallpaper.) And also appears if you have app lock. It would stop your night mode if you happen to be using it. It also stops reading mode so yeah it is a fingerprint scanner thing - it isn't issue technically but you can always point Developers on it.

No it happens in all Under Display Fingerprint lineup (7/7T/7 Pro/ 7T Pro/ McL edition) - see I didn't include 6T since it contains 1st Gen sensor while entire new lineup has 2nd Gen
