Playstore Download notification not working Nov 10, 2018

    Playstore notification is not showing in my OnePlus 6t, no download notification, but it shows notification after an app has been installed, is this oneplus 6t feature or is there a problem?

    Edit:
    The problem was fixed with the 9.0.6 update[e]1f44d[/e]
    Doesn't show icon in notification area :-( but when you swipe down you can see the downloading notification.

    Hi,
    check if this works or not.
    Here solution for this weird bug
    1. Go to Settings, App & notification, touch 3 dot, Show System, find Android Setup, go Storage and clear storage.
    2. Back to Settings again, search Download Manager, and set "Show silently" on, Notification, In progress.
    3. Reboot

    Could you post a screenshot of the the screen with the "Show silently" toggle. I can't find anything similar, when running the device with a danish interface.

    Still the same problem after installing the latest 9.0.6...

    I'm beginning to think this is something that has to do with Android 9.0?

    I have automatic app updates turned off but update notifications turned on. Since I've bought my 6T, I've never got an update notification. Tried different solutions, I'm 100% sure everything is set up correctly. Sometimes I randomly get a notification that my apps got updates (after I've updated them manually) but the notification shows up few hours later and more than once (so it shows up few hours later and then another few hours later for instance) and whenever I unlock my phone after getting the notification, it's not there anymore.

    Weirdly enough, it showed a notification this morning for an app that needs updating. So problem does seem to be solved...

    After updating to 9.0.6, a notification showed up when the phone was locked, however after unlocking it disappeared so if I'm not near the phone, I won't know that there's an update.

    I do not see notifications of application updates and I do not see the notification of the application update.

    Follow this:
    1. Go to settings
    2. Touch Apps & Notifications
    3. Touch All apps
    4. Touch the 3 dots in top right corner and choose "Show system"

    Android Setup will not appear on the list of apps.

    But make sure you have updated to 9.0.6, it should fix the problem.

    same here ..after update this version 9.0.6 .many prohlems come like play store .back camera face beauty .vibrate on call connected and many features are lost after updation
