Please change the color of the notification

The Color of the notification is disturbingly white in noughat. Even after switching to dark mode it, it still remains bright white. It doesn't blend along with the rest of the OS at all.

I think there should be 3 options: Black, Dark Grey & White. The reason why it looks so odd is, in nougat the notifications are much larger, in lollipop & marshmallow, the notifications were much smaller rectangles (in nougat, the breadth of the rectangle is more). I do agree that the functionality of the notifications has improved drastically, BUT it looks odd, plain & boring.

Please OnePlus do something about it. The bright white notifications are piercing my eyes. I am sure many people would agree with me on his one.

Yes!!! The first thing I noticed after updating to Nougat is this. It hurts the eyes especially if using the dark theme.

    Please fix this OnePlus! Thanks.

Yes, please change the notifications to dark when dark mode is selected.

Better yet, if you do not want to build a theme engine, please have substratum or Lineage OS theme engine baked into oxygen os.... Theme engines allow your users to personalize their phones in many ways - this world make many OnePlus users happy! I would be overjoyed to be able to use substratum or Lineage OS theme engine themes without having to root my phone.

can't take these notifications anymore.. they look hideous .. I'm thinking of shifting back to Open Beta 7. OB7 is a mix of marshmallow and nougat.. best of all no white notifications

I agree 100%. If you change it to dark theme it should change the notification cards to match it. I hate them white cards when everything else is dark.

Another vote for notifications to follow the dark theme when selected, please. It's really jarring.

Oh, this is disturbing. Original poster mentioned the issue at the start of the year, and it still has not been fixed. =(

What a shame. It is clearly an aesthetic bug.

Lol. It's not a bug... This is just the way it is. I personally don't have an issue with it. I think it looks fine.

changing the colour of the notification shade is the only option. they can't add any theme engines because the theme engine might cause the system to be unstable. and think of all the shitty posts that would pop up if even a single app got updated and broke the pre existing theme. the apps would crash and every single user who doesn't understand this will be ranting away and complaining like a baby, and if an actual issue exists most people on the forum would not even bother because they'll just assume it's a theme update issue.

That's a fair statement. I have the latest Ressurection Remix on my OnePlus 3. I can use substratum theme engine but there are not many themes that work well.
