You do have the slimmed SDK files, the needed fastboot drivers and what do you type? The command should look like "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and the recovery needs to be inside of the slimmed SDK package and you need to open the CMD inside the slimmed SDK.

It seems like your system partition is damaged. Don't know what the hell you did, but you should give this toolkit a try: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...ol-restore-stock-cm11s-fix-bricks-etc.237827/ it will bring your phone back to 44S. But, this is something you do at your own risk. If you point a finger at me for messing up your device I'll laugh in your face. @DaxNagtegaal, or do you have a other solution. And by the way, you first need to install the drivers, then connect your phone to your pc by shutting off your device and keep holding ONLY volume up when connecting your device, it'll get into BULK mode.

that tool is a last resort really for completely unresponsive bricked devices

it also involves installing more drivers, best to not go that road unless you have to

go back to Dax's guides, there's one that tells you precisely what to do if you have
    TWRP but no ROM

What do you mean? Is the device booted into 44S or did the wipe inside TWRP worked?

Yes, but the problem is that she can't wipe, atleast in the beginning. I can't help her with that, probably a damaged system partition.

Actually, an old version of twrp did the same for me. Make sure they have the latest version (v2.8.6.0) from here.

You don't need root, only if you wanted to root your device. Did you install a OS?

I'd focus on getting an OS on the device first....root you can do later
without data loss, use TWRP to flash a ROM and get the thing back to life

If you did a factory reset you need to install CyanogenOS 12 again. Which version of TWRP do you run? Please send this info asap, I am going to eat in a few minutes.
