I wouldn't mind it to be honest.. I don't really use the front-facing camera that much

It's not that bad, everyone is against it in the beginning but once it's out and everyone starts using it, they end up either liking it or not being too bothered by it. All will be well haha

    @Gary C.

so finally, all you settled for was from some consistency in the UI and making cosmetic changes.

I don't want to be mean, but its more like you chose an easy way out.

    not happy with your choice.

Congratulations to the winner, a very nice proposal is rewarded for its concept and its author rewarded for their efforts.

It would be great if you could make a thread describing the decision process, the proposals that made the cut and the team members opinions on the proposals.

That would give PMChallenge so much value since members would be able to further discuss the proposals that the Dev Team found interesting and start an ongoing brainstorming process to help improve Oxygen OS in the future.

I can easily see PMChallenge setting a precedence for community driven mobile device OS by a non open source vendor. The ton of quality entries show exactly how strong our community power is.

    Again congratulations to the winner.

Loved it, but there are 16 screens in the setup process, would prefer if there are fewer screens.

    I 100% agree.

Wifi setup (and subsequent install of apps / updates)
    Fingerprint unlock
    Face unlock
    gmail extra accounts setup

should all be removed and left for the user to do whenever required (and obviously not through mobile data).

    Congrats to the winner.

There are many smart ideas in there (given for free) besides the winning one.

Hopefully it'll inspire their software team to improve the overall software and this won't blow off like a firework.

Excellent ideas there @Its.Leandroo for the next version (hopefully) of OxygenOS. I was done buying new OnePlus devices for a while (I still love my OnePlus 5) but these changes will definitely sway me.

I especially like the way you bring some attention to how older (and differently abled) people face difficulties in using Android. Accessibility and ease of use bring joy to everyone and more importantly make their lives one less stressful experience in using their slabs.

Definitely a well deserved win. Kudos!

Please OnePlus don't miss other #PMChallenge competitors works. In these weeks I read a lot of interesting ideas from all over the community, so my advise is to consider other ideas in addition to @Its.Leandroo one.
