Q : Who are the users?
A : All users who do online banking on phone and users who multitask (basically includes almost all

Q : What is the proposed function?
A : The proposal concerns the people who do mobile banking or online transactions on their phone. I propose that when a message arrives instead of just showing the SMS in notification area, there can be option of reading that message before hand and just showing the OTP with an option to copy it.

Q : What is the user value?
A : The proposed way of identifying the One Time Password in a message will help the users in saving time to memorize the OTP and reduce an extra step of manually entering that OTP into the screen. This feature will also help for users of all applications which require entering OTP for logging in, for first time.

Q : If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?
A : There are comparable functions in industry but they are as a part of third party application and not as default functionality

Q Explain the logic behind this product and how you want it to be implemented
A : The logic behind is that when you arrive at the screen where you enter One Time Password while verifying your identity first time logging into a particular application or while making an online transaction you have to enter an OTP which is sent on registered mobile number as an message. So whenever there is an new message we can scan the message for keywords like "OTP" or "One Time Password" and a six / eight digit number which is the OTP and then along with options of "Reply with SMS" and "Mark as Read" show another option of "Copy OTP" which can be directly pasted into the OTP window and will save effort of memorizing or switching between the applications for OTP submission.

Attached photo shows how when a message arrives at phone and subsequently when a notification pops up the added option of copying OTP will help the users have a better experience
