    PRD Accessibility Slider #PMChallenge

Further Customization of Alert Slider Functions

Users: Potentially all can reap benefits through awareness.

Proposed Function: Alert slider controls accessibility functions instead of ringer.
-middle is normal colors on screen, top is grayscale screen (enables saving of battery life and allows for greater user control over phone addiction), and bottom is reduce white point (for when the lowest brightness setting isn’t low enough during the darkest of nights)
-other settings customizations combinations entirely possible and easy to implement.
-can be placed as a setting under current alert slider settings.

User Value: Giving the user more control over their device through positive enhancement of OxygenOS image, and consequential enhancement of brand-pride.

Industry Comparisons: Potentially none if marketed appropriately because the alert slider is uniquely linked to OnePlus phones.

My logic behind these implementations are uniquely linked with accessibility functions in mind for the minority of the population that could highly benefit from features like a hyper-customizable alert slider. Not only can the mute and blind use the alert slider to activate voiceover, but the hard of hearing can utilize this to enhance the visual stimulus to their specific needs. Past this niche it is possible and fairly simple to implement customization of the alert slider to become a function slider for a multitude of things in which the imagination is the only limiting factor. Not only will this feature reduce burdens to the handicapped, but it can be utilized by all.

    Who are the users?
Users who want to take quick panoramic 360s.

    What is the proposed function?

Put to use both front and rear camera and flip the phone just slightly to get an easy 360 as this feature will utilize both front and rear cameras field of vision compared to a conventional single camera only view. Currently, by using only a single cam it takes a lot of time and effort to take a 360. This also requires a hardware level integration as cameras need to be on the same level (maybe).

    What is the user value?
Removes the hassle in taking 360s and failed attempts due to moving objects or people as it just takes too much time. As 360s are quicker the user base will grow dramatically. Will also have the ability to quickly upload to FB as they support 360s now.

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your is proposed feature superior?
None of the phones have this feature built in (to my knowledge)

    Who are the users?
People who want to party loud :)

    What is the proposed function?
Enable the phone to connect to more than one Bluetooth speaker at a time. This is relatively easy to do and I think is a must.

    What is the user value?
Currently, all phones allow only the ability to broadcast to a single speaker. This is not ideal if you want to party or have an event and have more than one speaker with you. As the number of users with Bluetooth speakers have grown exponentially, we can use this feature to make up for the missing 3.5mm headphone ;)

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your is proposed feature superior?
None of the phones have this feature built in (to my knowledge)
