    Who are the users?
The user base is not limited to users who still want to use their wired Headphones without a dongle. Since the headphone jack is an open standard, various devices got developed using the advantages which a port like this offers. Besides the most common scenario for this port (wired headphones/headsets) you can use it for example for camera triggers or even credit card readers.

Therefore, users of this port will be
    1. People who own wired Headphones
    2. People who own wired Headsets
    3. People who are using wired selfie sticks (Ever tried using a Bluetooth-Selfiestick with an empty battery?)
    4. People who headphone jack credit card readers
    5. People who are HiFi enthuthiasts (yes, the audio quality of wired devices is superior to Bluetooth)
    6. People who don’t want to turn off every Bluetooth device nearby which is also pared with the desired Bluetooth device in order to connect it seamlessly (eg. Shared speaker)

    What is the proposed function?

The Function would be adding the Headphone jack. Simple as that. Many great companies did it for years and it never seemed to be a problem. So why making it a problem now?

    What is the user value?
    • No more empty battery in
      • Headphones
      • Headsets
      • Other Third party devices (eg. Selfie Stick)
    • Not having to buy adapters
    • Cheaper headphones/headsets with better audio quality
    • Charge while Listening to music without adapter
    • Even with charging + headphone jack adapter ==> no electric resonance while listening to music
    • Superior audio quality (yes, the quality of wired connection is better then Bluetooth, even with aptX standards)
    • Being able to use existing audio equipment not having Bluetooth (such as a little older sound systems, cars, …)
    • Better extensibility for various third party devices
    • "Plug and Play" Not "Turn On and pair and connect"
    • ...

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?

Since everyone is ditching the headphone jack, you could be the one listening to the community and providing better value customers a. You would gain trust and support from everybody

    Mockup and Design
You don’t need that, you know how it looks like ;)
