    Who are the users?
Every smartphone user with a tall aspect ratio phone (which is mostly ever phone nowadays).

    What is the proposed function?
Improve the ease of usability by making the menus (like app drawer and setting menu having a search feature) accessible on taller form factor phones with just one hand by moving the "Search Bar to the bottom of the Phone" so users do not have to readjust the grip or use two hands to operate.

    What is the user value?
Handling a big tall screen phone with utmost comfort increasing the ease of usability.

With the current generation of the phones where the phone screens are getting taller (18:9 and similar), it becomes troublesome for people to reach to search bar which resides at the top of the phone using a single had without readjusting the grip or the person has to use two hands.

With the search bar placed in the ‘apps menu’ or ‘setting menu’ at the bottom, the accessibility would improve a lot as the person would not have to readjust the grip or to use the other hand.

An example situation can be one coming out of a grocery store after shopping with one hand full of bags and then have to book a cab. The person would have to rely on the services of his other hand doing all the work. And with the search bar at the bottom, he/she would be easily able to access the app with one hand without the need to readjust the grip to operate the phone saving him/her the trouble.

Attached is a sketch describing the implementation for the same.

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?
    Not Sure

This can all be achieved by doing a headstand while holding your phone upside down, negating the need for any additional development work.

But holding a phone upside down is not a solution, just a workaround maybe but still too much hassle for the user.
