    Who are the users?
Anyone who is always looking for speed.

    What is the proposed function?
Increase the speed of interaction with the applications and system functions using shortcuts that are activated with active screen gestures.

    What is the user value?
Oneplus has always been characterized by focusing its efforts on improving the user experience and precisely "Teleport" is focused on that. Since it reduces the steps necessary to perform daily tasks, achieving a time saving and a feeling of unparalleled speed.

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?
There are different launchers that offer something similar, the most complete is Nova launcher prime. The advantage of "teleport" is that being integrated in OXYGEN OS the operation must be more precise and faster. In addition it could be used from any application without the need to go on homescreen.

Explain the logic behind this product and how you want it to be implemented

    TELEPORT

With Teleport you can go from point A to point B just with one gesture.

    How to enable "Teleport"

Teleport works as a utility within the system configurations, therefore you should go to systemsettings/ utilities/ teleport.

    How works Teleport?

Teleport transforms your homescreen into an always active space, where you can draw the preset gestures to perform various tasks instantly.

We will have the option to enable "Teleport" from any app using the gesture of three fingers up, like screen capture but inverse (I think it is viable, if not, you could add the floating ball option). This option will allow you to draw the desired gesture on the entire screen, as if a new transparent screen were superimposed on the app that is being used.

We can also customize the teleport activation feedback between four different options:

    None

    Vibration

    Sound

Finally we will have the section where we configure gestures and tasks.

    Gestures and tasks

The gestures and tasks are the heart of this new functionality, then I present a combination that I consider cover most tasks we do daily.

The configuration is quite simple, the gesture is chosen, a new window opens in which we will have the tasks, select the desired task and then customize the task.

The amount of gestures and tasks can be extended, for example there can be a gesture to write an email directly, add a new contact to the agenda, schedule a calendar event with a single touch, we could add a note or reminder or even gestures that serve as a switch for Wi-Fi, mobile data or screen rotation.

Teleport , examples of its potential

Teleport has a learning phase in which the user associates the gesture with the configured task to the point that it becomes an automatic and natural action within the brain. This allows us to perform the tasks without even having to see the device since it will not be necessary to press a specific area of the screen to achieve it.

    Examples:

In addition to the time that we will save, we can leave space on our homescreen to place low / medium use applications, improving the experience even more.

I'm sure the thoroughness of this post is appreciated, but gestures already exist in the OnePlus ecosystem. If you're proposing these gestures be available while the screen is on as well, I personally think you should have simply suggested the reapplication of an existing technology in these phones. This implementation would be significantly simpler than creating an entire new product feature as you suggest.
