Really nice idea @OceaneSxm... 8D
And your welcome...
Though I don't really know what I've done... ?? ;D
You gave great advice
" Always stay positive...! ;D"
Really like this one!
A mode where you are in control of what you control ?
Hahaha yes totally
Good job @OceaneSxm
IDK what to say but the illustrations are cute though!
What about the idea, would you find it useful on your phone?
ahh, this one is good.
would love to see it in action.
Of course, it is useful and it combines the best of user profiles and productivity apps.
I think I've used something like this before, I can't remember it now.
But user flow (settings>modes>selection of mode) can be optimized further, I mean there must be a way to do this faster. What do you propose? widgets?
Thanks for your feedback
How I imagine it the users would have to go into the settings only to set up the mode then they get to chose how they want to access that mode : tile in status bar, added button on the navigation bar, gestures.
Or as @Venky61 proposed :
I've used a variation of this on my Xperia S. Different NFC tags would activate the said modes.
I think a quick tile can be implemented to toggle the plus modes.
Or you could program the alert slider for 3 preferred modes of your choice from the plus mode settings and will return to the default state when quick tile is toggled on/off respectively,
Plus you can use force touch+ on the toggle button to select mode without opening the settings.
What do you think @OceaneSxm ?
Those are great ideas !
I thought about NFC but since it requires external apps I didn't mention it.
Thanks for reminding me about the existence of the alert slider, don't use it that much but your idea would make it very useful. And yes it would be great to couple Force touch+ with the modes selection
Ahh the Xperia NFC tags. I had one for my bedroom, one for my car and one for my bathroom (don't ask why)
I see what you did there
So the community isn't as toxic as I expected it to be.
Go for the quick tiles and alert slider method.
They'll make mode switching a LOT easier
