C1541596868115, Feb 4, 2019 : Who are the users? Absolutely everyone who has a Oneplus phone. What is the proposed function? Customizable gestures to access the quick settings/notifications. Like there were added the navigation gestures instead of buttons, this would be an extra gesture that would be customizable from the cover area to the sensitivity. There would be a separate menu for quick navigation gestures. From there you could enable an area on the side of your screen, that would pull down the notification drawer if swiped fast. Theoretically it would look like this: you use your phone with your right hand, see a notification/want to change quick settings/access notifications and swipe down very fast from the edge of your screen, that would be a few pixels on the screens side and it would bring down the notification drawer/quick settings. Also it wouldn't interact with users regular phone usage because the are would generally be very much to the side and would react to fast movement only. What is the user value? The user can navigate faster and access the notifications singlehandedly without any effort. This would mean fast and efficient navigation without any dangers like dropping your phone.
