Ok guys this: make sure that you are in a space with very good lighting, bright sunlight for example. And look really really close to the edge of the glass on you screen, use a magnifying glass if necessary. Now push the screen in with your finger while remaining super focused at the edge of the glass. Does the glass ever so slightly sink in and out of the phone frame ? If yes, this is the reason for the false pocket mode alert. This can happen due to a hard drop, or bend (if you accidentally sit on your phone for example)
I faced this on my OP6 but a friend has it also on OP6T so I guess it is something that may happen in a variety of OP devices.
I would advice contacting support for a repair. I personally like to experiment and open/disassemble my phones, change batteries by myself etc and have the necessary tools to do so as a hobby. So I gently lifted the top right corner of the screen and put some super glue under the glass, then kept it firmly pressed for a couple of hours. The glass does not move at all and is firmly into place so the problem got away. I would however discourage you from doing this unless you absolutely know what you are doing, and are prepared to say goodbye forever to your warranty.
Cheers.
