I keep the screen up so it won't get scratched and I can see notifications very quickly.

    Done!
This is why I cannot buy a OnePlus 3, because the camera sticks out.

I Have no particular way with my OnePlus One. Sometimes I'd rather have it showing my notifications, sometimes I like to admire my home-made carbon fiber case:

Most times I just put it anyway without caring. Is this some plan to implement Notification LED on the back side? Or add an edge screen with support for notifications like Samsung?

So it is possibly a bit late, but #FormDone.
Always keep the screen side up, so i can start my smartphone even faster :D
I have a funny but annoying habit. If i have a pen in my hand, i just open and close him over and over, even tho my pen cries too :)

I have multiple sclerosis, and at times my hands can be very clumsy. Always with a case on it I make sure I'm very careful setting my phone down and always screen side up. :D There have been times phones have slipped out of my hands, and at times I had broken them pretty bad. It's a horrible feeling when you break your phone over your own clumsiness. Moments like those all you can do is step back and laugh it off after you are done being angry at yourself.

A phone needs to be both good in-hand and flat on a desk. I don't have my phone constantly in my hand, unfortunately so I need it to sit flat on my desk whether that be at work or at home.

I votes always leave the screen up as this happens 90% of the time I would say but there are occasions I flip it over but I couldn't really tell you why I do that.
