So I know there are tons of threads on here about the OPO not having supporting Micro SD card. but I want to know how many Micro SD cards have corrupted on you? I myself have lost a lot of data because of at least 3 SD card getting corrupted.

[edit] sorry I should have named the thread differently!

Same, even with all the bloat of the G2, 32 gigs can house all my music, pictures, and the apps i use (I don't game, soo)

Well, so far I have only had one SD card go out on me. 16GB. I bought a new Kingston one, haven't had any issues with it in the 2 yes I've had it.

My music collection is a little over 16GB, but yeah.

With a 64GB internal storage one can do without the SD slot.
Over the years I had a few SD cards collapsing and I rather trust internal storage.

For me I rather see optic stabilizer in next phone from 1+1 rather then SD slot.

I never buy cheap MicroSD cards, ALL of my cards are SanDisk, always the most premium model type available and I have had zero MicroSD card failures and 1 Mini SD card failure 1 SD card in 12 years of smartphone ownership and DSLR ownership

Never had one go bad on me, not on phones or cameras, but I like having the option of adding it to my phones even if it comes with a gazillion GB internally. I like to be able to decide what to do or not do.

I mean, not having an SD card slot is not the worst thing in the world. There is OTG (Thank god) and cloud storage. However after having the 16gb model for a week, i only had 3gb of storage left on it haha.

Well at least I took in the effort to run the search... lol. I'm not going to sit here and run threw all the pages of all the somewhat similar threads to see if something was mentioned.

I think you SD card not SD card slot. It could happen different ways. unplugging w/o unmounting, dropping the phone (happened to my wife's S3), physical damage, and sometimes they just go bad.
