    Hi all,

This is intended to help the community find out if there are issues just affecting the A6000 (India assembled Oneplus 6) and the A6003 rest of the world model assembled in China.

The issue is with the release of software 5.1.6 and the constant rebooting may be confined to just the A6000 model.

So in about 5 minutes I will add a poll so please vote and add comments below.

Hopefully this will be helpful to the community and if not I am sure it can be moved or close by the moderators

Remember the Poll is only available by logging into the web version of the forum and not the community app

    https://forums.oneplus.com

I do believe there maybe an issue with just the A6000 model phones so this will enable a quick poll to see if this is true and maybe helpful, maybe not you decide by voting.

if you wanna help then tell this to OnePlus. no-one gives a damn about what happening in here. im from India too. i updated to 5.1.6 and then i did a factory reset. everything is just fine and i didn't face any issues so far like crashing or rebooting. same with 3 friends of mine. everything is working properly. though there are and always will be some lil bugs coz no operating system is perfect. so stop whining and sell your phone if have a problem with that. half of the people in the community don't even know what a bug is or how to use a forum so your effort is kimda useless.

firstly I am not whining, If you are ok on your A6000 with 5.1.6 and it isn't crashing then vote that way.

It would just be nice to know as a community with all the threads out there what the true figures are, is it just affecting A6000 models or both A6000 and A6003 models. As well as knowing what you have typed that you have the Indian A6000 model and it's working fine.

I am not Indian and to presume so is a little bit strange, read my first post again no whining or moaning just fact finding for the community as that's what we are here, a community and when there is a lot of attention on a particular issue sometimes it helpful to get some statitstics.

Like I said report this post and the mods can decide if it's relevent and ok and I'm fine with their judgement.

there are people who root their device, use a custom boot loader and install oxygen on top that.
they also install OTA (available using zip file), they do a hell lot of things.
then they complain that their device crashes after OTA update...?

you're right. mine is working just fine. if there's a software problem then it should appear on each phone. but it's not so maybe those people messed up with the things they don't know and now they're crying for the fix. there's no fix for that.

yes that's the nature of oneplus which is great, we can do what we like to the phones and still we get support and a warranty it's fantastic isn't it.

But yes if it was just a few affected people then we might be able to blame rooting etc but it's lots more than that and some have confirmed they haven't done anything but OTA and not rooted etc.

(not my quote)I'm thinking there's some manufacturing errors, you got what I call a Monday phone (a Monday phone is when workers are ready to work and Keyes in for the week) those affected got a Friday phone( the I've got my eye on the pub a few drinks and can't be bothered day lol)(not my quote)

Maybe but not all of them most are new to oneplus and don't even know about rooting and messing with their devices yet

No issues at all with Indian version of OnePlus 6. l have bought two OnePlus 6 handsets for my family and there is no issues with rebooting or anything else with this superb phone. A company like OnePlus can not think of making phones countrywise with respect to it's quality. Please keep abstain from this type of negative criticism with useless base.

my device doesn't crash but a lot of Indian users are complaining in the forums that there do, so this is to get some hard statistics for and against the issue.

I live in the UK btw this is just to help to understand the issue and the models it affects.

No where have I stated I have this issue.

    anyway moving on lol
