you replied to your own thread but yes I support all views.

So far the voting analysis shows

A6003 model absolutely no affects with crashng from 5.1.5

A6000 model shows 50% experiencing crashing on 5.1.6 and 50% not experiencing any crashing.

Anyway don't forget to vote all it will help with the real figure and depth of this issue, if it is indeed an issue.

50% experiencing crashing is an assumption only. Please stay away from assumptions to criticize a world famous start up company like OnePlus. it's not fair.

50% experiencing crashing may be due to not cleaning cache before installing 5.1.6 or may be showing location as Germany or Canada as VPN which is false identify of location.

lol I won't explain statistics to you and the fact that only the A6000 model is sold in India

at the time of typing that was correct 50% of people that have voted with the A6000 have the crashing issue. But I will update this here over the day.

    Anyway make sure you vote.

Oneplus have already confirmed the issue so there is no doubt it exists so this is not a dig at oneplus they know there is an issue and they have already pulled the 5.1.6 software from OTA and their downloads page.

So get your facts right first, oneplus have acknowledges this issue, it is confirmed as existing and this is just to get some statistics.

thanks and don't forget to vote x

it's not it's acknowledged as a fault in the 5.1.6 software.

Oneplus have pulled the software for causing this issue, so get your facts right first!!

No mate...I am on Indian OP6 it's working fine...
For me there is only one irritating bug and that is the lag which I find sometimes while opening chrome..I tried clearing cache (didn't help)....I hope this will be fixed in future updates...

chrome lag that's a new one, maybe a factory reset if it never did it in the early days as you have already tried the clear cache route.

    Backup first

You do know this has been the way with every device OP have made.
You have the I have no issues camp and the I have issues camp. But the common denominator is OP, they made the device and software on each and every Device model.
I have had 4 OP devices faulty out of the box, so I know without a doubt who is to blame.;)

sorry to tell you that it's an utter misfortune. l am sorry for your bad luck. But l too bought 4-5 OP handsets from Amazon India and but never faced any issues till date. l think l have the right to express my good luck. But l being a rational man, don't believe in luck. May be some by chance manufacturing defect, hope a company like OP will definitely replace or repair those handsets if complaint is genuine.

I doubt it their history shows they sweep things under the carpet..I'm guessing you are new to oneplus and haven't been through the recent history with them

    1) credit card fraud incident
    2) Mkey incident
    3) syphoning data from phones

the list goes on and on.

You should look up the history of oneplus gaffs before you staunchly defended them in an ongoing situation.

we can only hope they do the right thing....this time

That is not bad luck my friend, it is poor manufacturing processes and poor quality control.
There were fundamental issues on the devices OP would have fully aware of and they still shipped the devices. There were also other issues that came to light after the launch of said devices.

Only 1 of these 3 was never really answered or has a solution though.
And that 1 is the credit card fraud incident.
That one I will admit was swept under the rug

    MKey was figured out. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.project.development.messaginapp
It is a keyboard/sms app for Indian language. OnePlus put it in to try and help the Indian users.

And the solution to siphoning data is don't join the experience program. I never join any of those experience programs.

strangely so far the only ones affected with crashing are the A6000 model assembled in India in Noida by Oppo.

The A6003 assembled in China are by the looks of it clear of the crashing issue and the camera issues and the dust issues, sounds like bad manufacturing at that plant.
