Am I the only one who has trouble getting the voice wake-up "Ok OnePlus" feature to work in the new update?

Not all that great since you pretty much have to hold the Mic to your mouth to get it to work. I would prefer to get a little distance out of it so I can go full hands free

I do as well Mic sensitivity must be set very low. I can only guess that it has to do with power consumption

Sooo... We are basically getting Siri? Pretty useless, especially when you are in public.

OK OnePlus only worked once in 30 tries, and that was only because I was only a few cm away from my phone :/ Hopefully they fix this in next update. I've been trying something else like "Open Mic+" app to open from screen that is turned off. Works best with sensitivity set to 5 (battery consuming), but idk why it registers if I pick up / shake my device sometimes, it accidentally triggers google now voice command. I might just wait on the next update. ;)

Agreed. It wouldn't make sense to have voice command feature to work when you need your phone very close to your mouth (based on low sensitivity of mic), which usually requires you to pick up your phone, defeats the purpose of "hands free" experience.

Google fixed it by now (though screen has to be on) while Oneplus voice recognition still can't understand me at all. I doubt they ever put some effort into it after producing this broken function. To activate ok google, go to language&input- language - voice input - improved google services(gear) - ok google recognition - on every screen
