I might have gotten one but when comparing it to the 3T, the increased price for what you get extra, and that extra is not much to brag about, I would say the 3T would still be my choice. But it's already gone from my country store.

Seen as you have read so many of my posts, you shouldn't need to ask that question. I have answered it often enough;)

Oh what is there positive to say about a replica device, that has been caught benchmark cheating again like others and almost every notable reviewer on YouTube post reviews within hrs of launch?
Now you can see where the extra cost is going. OP new slogan should be,:

" Who's in our pocket" :D, it would seem not XDA to a point.

Kinda disappointed with the price - at least in Germany. 560€ is just too much, imho, there are cheaper phones that beat the Oneplus 5. Next to that, it doesn't seem too big of an update, especially the hyped camera.

Coming from a OPO with almost 4 years of use, I think it is a very good upgrade, i do don't like that it has a iPhone look, but for the specs it has i don't care.

I've been very happy with OnePlus hardware, having a 4 year old phone and my battery still giving me 3.5 hours of screen on time says much, screen still working perfectly some minor scratches here and there.

Most reviews downside the camera features do to OxygenOS software not using the full capabilities of the camera and with the huge community of developers and and open source drivers OnePlus gives plus the CAF drivers, new roms with better camera support and better software is just around the corner.

Here is me for another 3 years of pure awsome

I would be upset too as I looked at the OP3T a couple of months ago as a present for my son but based on my knowledge that OP usually release a new mobile every June/July I decided to wait it out, and I'm glad i did as I just ordered the OP5 black through early-drop. Can't wait for Friday.

I can see why ppl with older phones might want this, upgrade and keep it for a bunch of years, nice and simple. But if you have the 3T then upgrading seems pointless, well unless you have the having the latest phone of a particular brand syndrome. I would get the OP 3T still.

Exactly if I would have had de OP3/OP3T I wouldn't be thinking un upgrading, the 3 is a beast of a phone and if you are open to using roms you can still get more out of it.

My OPO went through 4 major android (KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat) updates and probably "O" if there is still a good user base, thanks to the developer community with good quality roms.

I don't think with a Galaxy/LG/HTC.... pricier phones can get this lifetime, you'll get prettier features and 4k displays (which in my personal opinion you don't need on a phone) but this kind of support I've hadn't had it with any other phone except the long gone Nexus line.

    Cheers
