    xfrostlon, Nov 8, 2018 at 9:38 AM :
Apps like Chrome, Netflix, LinkedIn and most frequently used apps constantly reloads on oneplus 6t. I have 6gb variant

Oneplus 6 had a great ram management.

I'm not sure if you are aware how Pie Android RAM work and what One+ have implement for RAM optimization....
try to research this first .
then try to learn how to use developer menus....
And once you master all of them you will find out that you actually have no problems .... that you posting.

Not all users are developers, its not consumers jobs to do this. Its Androids and oneplus teams job

    sure....
But complain about issue and it is actually not issue is a problem.
I will ask one simple question?
Don't worry about how much RAM is occupied!
Are you discovering any slowdowns or not.
if you do then you have to many apps running in the background.
Can you fix this for someone who cares less about leaving apps running in the background?
    yes we can.
But the end user needs to learn how to use Android phone first before we can help each other

Hay even pixel 2 had app slow down or app reloads because of lack of ram and poor ram management. Even mkbhd said so. I have used oneplus 6 with same apps and never had this issue. Because oneplus did a phenomenal job in managing ram. However this isn't true for oneplus 6t

Users don't have care how many apps they use or worry about the ram. I shouldn't have to. Its android engineers job to worry about it and optimize the system, so users have a good experience.

Dude what do you mean by end users have to learn to use Android.. Do we have to read developer documentation or read source code, do we have to learn about services and loopers? Do we need to just develop our own Android??

Android is light years above IOS considering control of the software and hardware.....
That is the nature of the Android......
With out learning how to use it will never satisfie end user..
I'm not trying to judge anyone or start a War.
I'm only trying to help here.

Yep, sometimes even the 2nd or 3rd last-used apps are reloading on my 6GB OnePlus 6T. Thankfully the 845 can reload them fast, but losing where I am and the subsequent delay are getting very frustrating on an otherwise amazing phone.

I don't know what type of phone you have in the past but this Android platform and hardware are best what is on the market today....
apps that you want to be fast on reloading....
Turn off battery optimization and you will have what you seek...
After that don't blame battery consumption..... getting high...
    there is a way .
Apps that needs constantly to sync with server like Facebook and other social media apps are after getting put to sleep will stop sync....
And once you call app again it will depend on your internet speed and latency how fast it will reload....
So internet and latency are your enemy and not phone or software.
