    i keeps on getting pop up ads on my phone...when i got them for the 1st tome i thought its a virus so i formated my phone but i am still getting those pop up video ads on my phone which even starts while the phone is locked is there anything i can do to stop these...??

    i tried uninstalling all the unwanted apps but still getting it...

    try installing eset mobile security. i thinks those advertising app are bloatware sof OnePlus (didnt experience it though)

    i installed eset mobile security it scaned the device and found no threat...

    just do a factory reset, it can be residue of an app the was previously downloaded as an apk. don't worry, its a simple fix.

    oh, u can contact OnePlus, but they usually have no idea of what they are doing. maybe wait for another knowledgeable person I guess. or can u show me a list of the apps that are on ur device. go to settings and show us. that way it's easier to determine a malware like app.

    If you are on Cell, did you get ads! If you don't, chances are your home network has been compromised. Switched off your home network for 2 mins and turn back again and see if you still get ads..

    I used to experience the same thing with my OnePlus 3T due to installing external apk. I managed to solve it by installing Malwarebytes on the play store and did a full scan
