Notch hands down, while pop-up has a cool look it is more of a cool factor it's more prone to trouble and failures.
I use face unlock 90% of the time so notch is way more practical for me. Incredible camera, beautiful screen and a smooth connectivity (my 6t is kind of an *** in that matter) and let the other kids play with their pop-up thingie

I would say water drop notch, it may be little intrusive to your screen but atleast I have peace of mind... i agree with few others, punch hole may be better or who know under screen camera in future.

I would love the pop-up camera. I think it's definitely the way to go. However, I chose the 7T over the 7 pro because of 2 reasons: The better camera, and the flat screen. I hate curved screens with a passion, especially ones with a curve that has the width of the 7 pro (as opposed to a tighter curve like on the newest Samsungs).

That will be in the territory of tablets. The display is already too big and it's high time Oneplus thinks of reducing it so 7inches is certainly a deal breaker for many. Oneplus 7pro is already heavy and big for one handed usage.

Indeed pop up camera and flat display was the gimmick that impressed me . I have used mostly the fingerprint sensor to unlock my device. Also the pop up camera has caused great impression to everyone I have shown my new 7 Pro.

In a world of privacy concerns popup cameras are a great feature for me. Not to mention the screen real estate advantages. You don't use the selfie camera constantly so makes sense to bring it when you want it! Also from a marketing perspective, it's very stand out from the crowd so a great selling feature!

Before you are interested in looking at cameras for people, please make software so that the phone consumes battery power normally !! I already turned off 90 hertz, switched FHD + resolution, set a black theme, black wallpaper, and this creature devoured the battery, so it was devoured at a wild pace! How much can you mock a consumer?

I detest any punch hole or notch, therefore the clean look of the 7T pro. People are skeptical about the motorised camera, I'm not sure why. Much ado about nothing, to use a Shakespeare phrase.

Plus, it's nigh on impossible for Chinese government to spy with pop-up camera.

    P. S. face unlock on pop-up camera is PDQ, I'm not sure why people think it's slow. Try it and you'll see

Face unlock is useful for times when hands are dirty or gloves on. Therefore notch is best. Pop up camera looks cool but not as useful. Just need the android 10 to have the option for black line.
