Dresa91 , Feb 26, 2021 : Disable notifications for this app. Here is a guide: „ To turn off notifications on your Android device on a one-off basis, follow these steps: 1. Launch the Settings app, then tap "Notifications." 2. You'll be shown a list of apps. Toggle the switch beside any app for which you want notifications turned off, so it turns gray. „
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 26, 2021 : Thank you for your response, however I have already tried this, notifications can't be turned off for this app.
Dresa91 , Feb 26, 2021 : Think then it is some system notification. Is there any other OnePlus app (package) starting with game? Game space, etc? Maybe the OnePlus Launcher? Are there any settings in the app Games?
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 26, 2021 : In the settings of this app the notifications are turned off, and what's more is that this pop-up doesn't show up in my recent notifications, leading me to believe that I can't do anything about it.( I had the notification less then 30 min. ago)
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 26, 2021 : I wish I could just uninstall it, but that's not possible either. The next best thing would be to never open the app, but it shows up whenever I open a game, and not just the app.
Dresa91 , Feb 26, 2021 : You can disable it via adb: https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/ https://www.xda-developers.com/disable-system-app-bloatware-android/
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 26, 2021 : I searched in all apps, but the notifications don't seem to be from oneplus launcher or the other app with games in it.
flither , Feb 27, 2021 : It could be 'Digital Wellbeing' or 'Zen Mode' notifications, never had this, but 'could' be one of these apps. Zen Mode is a system app so you need to press 3 dots menu in apps list and choose Show System.
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 27, 2021 : Thank you for your response, but this does not seem to have been the problem. Both have not send me notifications, because those were turned off.
flither , Feb 27, 2021 : Have you also opened Zen Mode app from the App Info screen and checked in it's own settings if notifications are off?
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 27, 2021 : I turned of 'usage access' for the app 'games', so it shouldn't be able to know which apps I use. Theoretically I think that should fix it.
Jonas.Vandewiele , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Feb 28, 2021 : It didn't work. It seems that button is just an illusion, because it can still track which apps I use (pic) and send me notifications to stop playing. Bummer, I guess I'll have to settle for this, because I don't want to go through the process of completely deleting it, that seems like a lot of effort.
flither , Feb 28, 2021 : I remember this notification popped out for me only once long time ago, nothing since then. I also always turn off usage access for Digital Wellbeing, have you tried this already? If it won't work, then I'm out of ideas
