    I am having the same issue. Got my phone June 9th, the double power tap just started yesterday. I have a bad feeling this is a hardware issue, though...

    Same here. Support told me to wipe cache and if that doesn't help, factory reset. That is not an option. Either it's software related and we'll get a fix or the customer service has to replace the power button.
