Other Power Button is stuck Oct 21, 2017

    The power button seems to be stuck. The device is continuously restarting. When I try to press the power button manually at a specific angle, it is starting, but then again after sometime, seems like it is internally pressing the circuit and the phone keeps restarting again. The battery is getting drained as I can't switch it off!! Keeps restarting...

    I purchased the phone from Amazon in India but I am currently in Dubai. It is under warranty. Any local service centers in Dubai? I need to get it fixed asap. It is very urgent!!

    Go out of the airconditioned room you're in. The cold is the cause for the button getting stuck. In hot conditions, it will be normal again.

    I have the same issue on my oneplus 5t. Did anyone find a solution? I've run out of ideas. Last option I'm thinking is opening the phone up

    Yes, that's the only option.
    Better to visit service center or do by your own if you good at this.
