    Hey everyone,

The OnePlus 8T 5G launch saw a lot of firsts. We launched a new color variant with Nord, two new updates to our audio product line and also something we’ve been discussing low-key at various interactions with the community here and there. The OnePlus Power Bank. Inspired by our mission to provide a burdenless smartphone experience, we extend this thought to surprise you with a device that gets you closer to an overall burdenless lifestyle. Now this is something you don’t get to see at our usual launches, and we hope you like it!

The OnePlus Power Bank offers 18 watts of charge on-the-go. Its high density 10,000 mAh lithium polymer battery ensures that current transmission is more stable and efficient with a longer life cycle.

To ensure support across your OnePlus as well as other devices it intelligently detects various fast charging protocols to adjust output power according to the smartphone. It also allows you to double-click the power button to turn on the low current mode to charge low current devices such as Bluetooth headsets and other wearable devices. Its 2-in-1 charging cable with dual micro USB/Type-C interfaces to meet the charging requirements of devices universally.

The OnePlus Power Bank will be available in two designs - Black and Green.

Priced at ₹1,299; the OnePlus Power Bank will be available for early access on oneplus.in and theOnePlus Store appstarting midnight! That’s 15 October, 12:00 AM onwards

This will later be available on Amazon, Flipkart and OnePlus exclusive offline stores starting 16 October.

No worries man. I know the feeling of wanting something and not being able to get it because the company doesn't want to sell it in your region 😂

See all the post above and one can say, people are very cofused by the term so called "18W fast charging" in regards to this power bank.

Let me explain a bit, There are multiple protocol under 18W, 18 W pd (power delivery), 18W VOOC charging, 18W QC 3/4, 18Watt blah blah. Different protocol and be applied for both input and output. said:

By just volatage or current one cannot say it's pd or QC. For example 9V 1.5A is used by both pd and QC, both are different protocol and may or may not support each other depending on phone, charger and even cable.

Unfortunately lazy OnePlus product team has not mentioned anywhere In the official site or in event or even in box about what protocol 18 W is.
I would say MI 3i 20000mah power bank is good compared to the OnePlus power bank, as they clearly mentioned it's 18W PD, which clearly means older oneplus device like oneplus 6/7 which do not support pd charging will just charge at 8 to 10W.

incase you want to know bit more about charging protocol used today, please refer below article from below link

if takes 4hours to fully charged. but the out put is really not so great. takes 1:40 mins to charge 0% to 100% on my OnePlus 7t.

I also bought and faced the same issue not so fast....
I'm using OnePlus 7 its not taking dash charging which is okay however it is not even charging with proper 18W output
My phone charges 0 to 50% in 30min
I am not expecting that level fast charging for power bank but its charging to slow for that its 24% in 30min so it will take 2hr for 100% This is mot expecting from OnePlus
They should mention everything in discription.
