its simple. go complain on the instagram forums. if your normal camera is fine then there is nothing wrong with your phone. your problem is with instagram.

There seems to be a problem with the camera API provided to 3rd party camera apps (it is causing a green tinge on a number I have tried, and crashes in others. Seems to have started in beta 3 and was in the 'stable' release, wasn't there in beta 2.

Instagram has been a problem since way before the OnePlus5 was released and it is still a problem. Im just surprised no one else has reported the same issue as you.

OK so, i have the OP5 bought from Hong Kong, running stable version of OS5.0 (Oreo8.0) clean install(not a dirty update install). OP5 camera app both back and front camera working with no issues. latest version of Insta installed from play store both cameras working as they should.

Also to confirm you are using beta3? if that's the case then what do you expect from a beta version of the OS, that's why its a beta... If its a bug go and post it in the Bug Reports forum.

Its in the stable release, and it affects (mainly varying levels of green tinge) the 3rd party apps that use the camera via the API that is published by OnePlus.

Looks like the green tinge has been fixed by the 5.0.1 release that quotes "Bug fixes for third party camera application" in the change log.
