I changed my two-year-old One Plus 7 Pro 8/256 to 9 Pro 8/256 and was surprised. I don't have many applications, but they constantly fall out of RAM. My 7 Pro coped with the same tasks better. And this is happening on the flagship. I already had models of One Plus 3T 6/64, 6, 7 Pro and I did not find an alternative. Now prices have increased, but there is no optimization. I believe that you will fix this problem, and applications will stop being unloaded from RAM. The problem is especially evident after using the camera and high-resolution images. Everything falls out in RAM. I did a factory reset, changed the RAM optimization and settings in the battery, nothing help.

I have the same problem. Even worse than on the video of OP. Uploading the video on YouTube and will attach it here. Op9pro 8/256 Le2120

    RAM optimization is off.

    There's a video

    Hi 👋
I also think it's a problem with devices that have 8GB RAM. I have similar issue and my version is 8 GB RAM too. As @Swejuggalo told you it's better you to report it to the team.
And the wallpaper doesn't change it to the default automatically?

Hi, I reported both to the mail and to the bug report with the log.The experts answered that the log and the description of the problem were transferred to the development. The flagship doesn't have to work that way. The wallpaper is not reset. 8 gigabytes of RAM is quite enough, but as I see it, the system is not optimized. I sold my OnePlus 7Pro 8/256, which is two years old, a week ago and there are no such problems. But they were at the beginning of the start of sales and lasted for several months until they improved stability.

I made it and shot it on another phone, now I'll upload the video to YouTube and here's a link. Videos on 9Pro are saved and snapshots too. And upon exiting the kamnry again, almost all applications left the RAM.

God damn right , OnePlus , DO SOMETHING !!!!

WTF, YOU TURNING INTO WHAT EXACTLY ?! Since when 8gb ram is not enough for Oxygen OS , this is not OneUI .. can't take 4 pictures on 48mpx without Luncher reloading and all apps get killed in background .. can't have more than 3 apps on standby , they all get killed by your optimization .. on top of that will you ever fix your Gallery ?! Every time it's caching photos, takes 5 seconds , horrible, simply horrible, what happened to you ????!!!!

    Same problem. LE2123 8/128.
Even after taking one photo, all applications are unloaded from memory. Terrible.

They have optimized most apps esp camera, hi res pics due to heating issue. Disable ram boost and check. Messing with os to control heating, optimizing without overall clarity leads to more issues rather than solutions.

Its not an issue with 8gb or 12gb ram. Its the implementation of the software and optimization. The overall thermal throttling is the issue. Ram boost is opposite of app optimization. Check ram boost in settings.

In the very first message, I wrote that enabling and disabling RAM optimization does not affect the launch of applications in any way, it is checked.
