It is what we call Screen Burn In. When you play a game at high brightness with graphics that are static and on the screen at all times it tends to burn in to the display. Unfortunately, this cannot be fixed and if it bothers you much you have to replace the display. It is not covered under warranty

Yes. By playing PUBG at high screen brightness at long periods of time. Again, congratulations.

All amoled displays have this weakness. Your old phone probably had a lcd display. That type of display is not as prone to screen burn ins as oled displays. You should lower your screen brightness and play shorter periods of time to prevent any further damage to the screen. Nothing else can be done except changing the display.

Edit. Pretty much every new phone has an amoled display so whichever phone you buy next will have this same weakness.

No. You damaged your screen by playing games at high brightness. There is nothing OnePlus can do about your personal choice to do so. Screen burn-in been happening to anything with a screen for years. It doesn't take a pro to understand that. You damaged your screen. That is all. Case closed.

What they're trying to tell you is that PUBG is apparently an addictive game, but has static graphics which will be displayed not moving for hours.
This is dangerous for AMOLED screens, as it was dangerous for old cathodic screens. High brightness will only hasten the process.
If you remember well, on computers, people used to install screen savers to display moving images instead of static desktop. It's exactly the same today with AMOLED technology.
Your only real solution is to get your screen replaced and stop using apps like this for hours.
