I know I have shared this one Facebook with my fellow friends,I do understand because I've seen this happen when the moto 360 got sold out VERY fast on the google play store.

Something that a member of OPO stuff has written in reddit.com:
So the production limitation is controled by OPO and pre-order system or what else they plan to do with supply depends on solution of their internal problems - support, logistics, may be also some technical issues, etc....
I hope they will manage to overcome this problems soon ;)

    It seems that he did.

It feels as if this company is just leading people on. The Pre Order was supposed to be out already and it seems that there is no shortage of these phones on EBay or Swappa for an unlocked phone. The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is not more than four months away and when the new batch of phones are shown by companies, what will this company do? That crap IPhone 6 plus is already out and the Note 4 is due out shortly. Either you compete or get left behind. And let's be honest, how fast do you need your phone to be? Most of the newer phones have really good screen resolutions and cameras. I can buy a mint condition Note 3 online for around $340, and I can be using it within 3-4 days. I like the OPO, but I want to be using it before the holiday season.

If google release replacement to Nexus 5 next month, then the current Nexus 5 which everybody is comparing OPO to may reduce in price...
WIll the OPO reduce price too? Why else would people wait in the pre-order queue, especially if the Nexus 5 is available for cheap on the Play Store?

For example because Nexus 5 is not available in all countries - also we can't use a forwarding company, because we even can't order the phone through Play store

OK, OPO can be a good alternative for those who can not purchase a Nexus 5 from Google Play, and do not want to buy it from Amazon or another supplier...
I'd say, the extended battery life and the design may persuade some people too.

We are currently developing the pre-order functionality. Our best estimation for the launch of this functionality is Q3, but are not able to make any guarantees at this moment.

Heard this from OnePlus too many times. I hope OnePlus can move out of the startup phase. However, it seems they're struggling as a company internally to manage production and a true product launch. Good luck OnePlus......

Unless these people stabilize with the selling system, they cant concentrate on making better phones...801 processor is already considered old...so will be other components in this phone.....what they have delivered with $350, its commendable....i will be happy if they come up with a new device for CES but my only fear would be the way the device will be sold.....this invite system will work if the demand is very less (which will never happen because of the price)....

You have to look for another invitation code to get another OPO. This happens to me twice in the past and I have to eventually obtain an invitation from other OPO fans to purchase my OPO. Great phone though!!
