I think the proximity sensor is too sensitive on my new OPX. When I answer a phone call the screen goes blank, but even if I move slightly away from the ear the screen comes back which is quite annoying.

Do u guys experience this? Anyway to fix this?

frankly I can't see my screen while in a call, tried but can't....but during call sometimes opx make short vibe, perhaps has to do something with proximitiy

I feel this is really bad. I'm on phone all the time while walking and it keeps making all vibes and sounds because of the proximity sensor. After a long gone call, I see so many tabs open with garbage stuff because of the proximity sensor

    Can this be fixed please??

I think you are on the right track here. The vibration problems while performing a call surely have something to do with it just as denis.jelcic did mention above. I guess it's just a minor problem, but it is surely one that needs attention. There is a whole list already... ;)

I reported this when I first got the handset at release. Have noticed its vastly improved (for me at least) since 2.1.3 update.

Does anyone for this fielded by doing a fa tory reset?

Since I talk a lot in the phone, it is a big issue for me. I'm close to returning or selling it because of this. I'd factory reset works for others I can try that

Yeah happens to me too. Nearby my ear should be enough to keep screen off at all times during a call but this is not the case in the OPX. This should be improved asap.

Any update on this? When you're on the phone call, you constantly hear a vibe and the screen comes on even with a slight movement causing chaos with key strokes.

    Has this been fixed now?

Can't you change the distance in the settings? Or has OnePlus decided to not include another basic feature?

I've read it helps to deactivate double tap to wake. Since I did that, I don't have vibrations during calls.
To wake up the phone I only move my hand over the sensor.
Also, it seems to be helpful to wipe the cache.

Since I did these two things:
    1) Deactivate double tap to wake
    2) wipe cache once

my X runs perfect without any problems. I hope this helps.

You need to fix this yourself from settings as it seems you may be doing something wrong. OP can't fix everything, its often down to how we use the phone, what's been down loaded. Most times people forget that many apps in play store have bugs that can slow down their phones but they blame the problem on Oxygen when it actually isn't the cause.

Agreed. Even if I move slightly while on call, the phone vibrates. Really annoying.
