well sucks to be you and the many others with the same issue. perhaps a quick search and you would have found out that this is now a problem you have to either live with or pay money to have your screen replaced.

Ok, gaming phone is a abstract concept, basically a phone that can run games, no one, expecialy OnePlus is advising to play PUGB non-stop, quite the contrary, ZenMode is something the company is actually developing, promoting, and encouraging, and is a tool to help people, I know it's a unpopular opinion, but games on mobile must be played responsibly, yes they are fun, engaging etc, so a few rounds, here and there, idk while commuting, or relaxing, or whatever, no longer than 1 hour sessions/day, besides being unhealthy, distracting, social and financial crippling, it can also ruin your screen, you are a statement to that, why would you ruin a 500-600-900$ device for a free game that actually runs better on a PC...
As a pro tip, your next device, if you want to successfully avoid screen burning.. try a LCD pannel one...
My comment might sound condescending, but I have only your well being in mind, a few friendly advising if you will, obviously you can ignore it completely, just keep in mind, that screen burning is ireversibile, permanent and no OEM will cover for that damage...

    All the best! Cheers

Edit note: while PUGB is a notorious screen destroyer, other apps and even icons are very good at it, even the navigation bar, so keep your phone at a reasonable brightness, move the white icons from time to tine, occasionally change your wallpaper, theme etc, as for PUGB itself, you can dim the actual brightness of controls etc in its settings, sadly you have to individually tap and then dim a element..

Thank you for exposing this issue (even if already covered by others) we can still raise awareness for others, that might actually avoid this situation !

As for the defect itself, you'll get used to it, the screen is still running fine, at same speed and refresh rates etc... I myself had a few broken, shattered screens in my life, but I decided not to replace the screens, they were older device, and it frankly is not worth it, use it as it is, and then just upgrade in a year or two...
