First of all, backup all of your important files as this will cause you to lose your apps and data.

    Then, install ADB and fastboot:
    Filename: adb-setup_1.4.3.exe

    Download this file: Credit @Snoop05

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0MKgCbUM0itNVB1elljU2NPR0k/view

Locate the file, right click and run as administrator.

    Press Y at each step:

Once the drivers are installed, the setup window will close and ADB and Fastboot will work!

Enable USB debugging on your phone:
    1) Enable USB debugging and OEM unlock
Go to Settings>About Phone>Tap Build number 7 times.

Go to Settings>Developer's Options>Enable USB debugging and accept warnings.

Connect your phone to the computer in recovery mode (VOLUME DOWN + POWER), wipe data + cache, then Install from USB

Create a new folder and download this ROM onto it: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591020540821926

Rename the ROM zip to oxygenos.zip (make sure it isn't oxygenos.zip.zip)

Whilst you are still in that folder, Open a command window:

For this you have to open a folder
    Hold shift and right click
    Choose Open a command window
    [IMG]

Once that is done type in:
    Code:
    adb devices
to make sure your device is recognized.

    And then
    Code:
    adb sideload oxygenos.zip

@Naman Bhalla, I'm not sure if this is fully correct as I do not know how to do a clean flash via ADB Sideload

Your guide is wrong. You can't sideload in bootloader mode. You need to be in sideload section of the recovery. For stock recovery, it is Install from USB and for twrp it is adb sideload

Wipe data and cache in recovery for stock recovery and everything except internal for twrp

    Heya,

I dot know if this is the right thread for it, so please tell me where to post when its wrong.
Got my Beautiful OP3 few days ago and I LOVE it.
but I'm a bit concerned about the speakers.
There is always a little static noise, kind of light buzzing.
Its always the same low volume level, but when the volume goes low, the noise becomes very annoying.
Is it due to bad speakers? A software bug? Tried it on Youtube, chrome vids and whatsapp.
    Any ideas? :)

This sounds like EMI (electromagnetic interference) which is caused by signals interfering with each other.

Turns out I was just being impatient. Strava just takes an age to find sensors first time around. So as long as you install the ANT services from the Play Store, it all works a treat.

How bad is it? A little noise is usually not a problem. And also, does it happen with headphones?

    Push notification issues:
This is caused by Doze, a feature implemented in Android Marshmallow to ignore wakelocks.

In order to disable it for certain apps do this:
    1) Go to Settings > Battery
    3) Click the three dots on the top right, and click Battery optimisation
    4) Click All apps
    5) Tap on apps that you always want notifications for, and click Don't optimise (e.g. email, Whatsapp etc)

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to correct the issue.

This option is not built in, however on some other systems it works.
