    There is a water splash proof according to the keynote from China. Is that true?

    Even I saw in youtube vedio's

    It isn't certified to be water resistant but there have been some YouTubers that have tried putting it into water (for short periods of time albeit) and it still worked.

    However, I wouldn't try this and would recommend to keep the phone away from water if possible to avoid unnecessary damage.

    Just read a report that the oneplus 5 is gonna be phased out. Kinda obvious that it would since it was out of stock long ago everywhere except in India. What I wanna know if it would end up being obsolete and just get minor updates (I know it's getting Oreo) but what I mean is if it would get 'oneplus-made' software features.

    As it is similar to the 5T, I think it will prolong the software update period as they can roll out together (as is the case with the 3 & 3T). Time will tell.

    As far as I am aware, there haven't been any new ringtones recently and I don't think there will be any new ones soon.

    Today first time, almost 3 months after the purchase, my op5 hanged! Though the issue seemed to solved after I restarted!

    The screen when it hanged! You can see no icons there

    Have you tried holding on to the app and seeing if there's an edit option (or holding on the dragging upwards)?

    I don't currently have access to a OP5 (I'm on holiday) but I'll check it out soon. If it is not there then you should probably submit it as a bug and/or use a different launcher (such as Nova).

    there's an edit option for label but that's per app and permanent. this means I'll have to go to each of my app, place them on home screen then edit their labels to blank for ever.

    this is not the option I am looking for. nougat had an ability to just hide labels for all apps in app drawer screen only

    let me try nova.

    Even when my device is locked, I can pull down the slider and have access to torch, location, mobile data etc. access means I can turn them on/off. take screenshots etc.

    I consider this a security issue as potential thief can turn off internet n location or worse power off my device.

    can this be disabled to not work until device is unlocked in OnePlus 5?
