Even when my device is locked, I can pull down the slider and have access to torch, location, mobile data etc. access means I can turn them on/off. take screenshots etc.

I consider this a security issue as potential thief can turn off internet n location or worse power off my device.

can this be disabled to not work until device is unlocked in OnePlus 5?

I use a paid security app, Cerberus, to do this. It offers many other benefits as well compared to Android Device Manager such as ability to turn data on/off via SMS and also take pictures after failed unlock attempts etc

Hi! Just to let you know I'm not a part of OnePlus (i.e. I do not work for them) so I am not a part of their 'team'. However, I would consider myself as a part of the community here.

Have you tried enabling and/or disabling Smart WiFi switch?
    Settings > Wi-Fi > [IMG] > Smart WiFi Switcher

I would recommend to disable it because in my experience it doesn't work very well, but you should try and see if that makes any difference.

Also, clear cache in recovery mode (this will not wipe any of your data.

I don't understand why a OnePlus employee would say that, it doesn't make sense to me. Did you contact via https://oneplus.net/support ?

This is a user community, the person who told you to sell your device is just a user like you so don't pay any attention. There are no OnePlus staff on here listening to your complaints. You need to submit proper bug reports to OnePlus using the correct feedback channels.

    I bought a oneplus 5 , 2 months ago...
do you know if protection is applied originally on the lens (as on the screen)?
It seems to me, but I can not take it off ...

The back camera doesn't have a protector on it. It is made of sapphire glass so it shouldn't scratch easily.

I downgraded Oreo to 7.1.1 (Oxygen 4.5.8) and I can't connect to my Wi-Fi network. It says connecting but it doesn't connect and then after a couple of tries the network disappears and after a minute appears again. Also when I go to Settings->About->Status, the IP Adress is Unavailable and also the Bluetooth address..

Was it a clean flash or a dirty flash? If it was a dirty flash, make sure to do a clean flash otherwise you will likely come across a lot of bugs etc.

It will involve a clean flash so you'll lose all your data, make sure to backup everything.

Firstly download the stock rom to your phone:

Then shut down your phone, and reboot to recovery (power + vol down).

Once there, choose English > Advanced > Wipe Data And Cache > Reset system setting > Yes

It should say "Format success", once this happens choose, "done" (don't choose reboot).

Navigate your way to Install from internal storage, find the 5.0.2 ROM file and flash it then reboot.
