    I plan to order my OP6T in 50 minutes :) depending on when it will arrive, I will definately at least unlock bootloader. I am bit hesitatant with rooting as well, but as I know myself, I will most probably try it :-D If you can wait few days, I can give you heads up :-D or maybe someone will be faster and tell us both

    m using it, you have to wake up the phone, but there is additional feature, the moment you pick the phone, it wakes up..so all are right, you have to wake up, yes, but as it wakes up once you pick you phone so it looks like no need.

    I just unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP, and rooted with magisk. No issues on my 6T so far.

    My T Mobile 6T does not remember the volume for connected Bluetooth devices. For my car, I have the volume set to max. When I connect my headset, the volume is 25%. Unfortunately, my 6T is set to the last volume used for Bluetooth and not the device specific volume. In other words, when I leave my car and then connect my headset, the volume is still max instead of 25%.

    How do I correct this? Why doesn't it remember the volume for each device?

    With facial recognition on, you can tap the finger print scanner with an invalid finger, but the phone still opens if it recognises you.

    Otherwise facial recognition only appears to work from the power button.

    Hey guys, so I am back, and in fact, already writing this post from my new device. And it is superb. First of all...

    Bootloader, recovery and root procedures are tested, and fully working!!! Huge thanks to @Alvie for putting it nicely together in one page.

    Phone is just superb. F**k all haters, Jack is not needed, Bullets Wireless are great to listen music from and are surprisingly comfortable.

    For those who are afraid of waking the phone to unlock with finger. The only way I actually had to wake the phone up with tap or button was when phone was lying still on the table mll. Every single small movement of phone wakes him up instantaneously and scanner is ready. So don't worry here, and believe there will be tweaks for this.

    What was incredibly fast was the shipment itself. 26 hours from completing the order took OnePlus to deliver the package to my front door! Wow! This is the real spirit of unlocking the speeeeeed! Haha. The fun begins now!

    For anyone who has questions, lay them on me, I will gladly help, if it's in my possibilities.

    Yes. If I use headphones and set the volume to 25% it stays there no matter what device is connected. If I connect to my car and then turn the volume to 100%, when I connect my headphones again, the volume is at 100%.

    I've read stock android 9 is supposed to remember the volume level for each connected device, not just the last device.
