Picture-in-Picture mode will only work in certain scenarios. For example: YouTube will only allow a majority of non-music videos to be played in PIP. Some other videos are also prohibited from playing in PIP. You should also get into PIP from vertical orientation on the phone, either going to the recents menu or the home screen. Google Maps works just fine for PIP as well for me!

Restart your phone! (Holding power button, then tapping restart). If not, try using cellular data instead of of wifi, or vice versa. Try switching wifi networks as well. It is a little finicky, as was with mine. Try stopping and restarting the downloads/updates. I let it run overnight though it didn't seem like it was downloading and all my apps were recovered!

my OP 6T shuts itself off at night. when I wake in the morning I have to hold the power button to turn it on. This happens if it is connected to the charger and not connected to the charger. is this normal??

Doesn't seem normal to me, check these settings:
Settings > Utilities > Scheduled Power Off/On and set something there and then remove it

OnePlus 6t has large display due to this it's so difficult to pickup calls while driving OnePlus should give one-handed mode in it's next software update

That must be the T-Mobile version then. My handset (Europe) came with a tray to hold 2 SIMs, and I'm using both.

Settings - Quick gestures, first option on mine is "Flip to turn off sound" - well maybe not those exact words as my handset is set to Danish. :)

Anyone having random vibrations (like 2-3 times a day) without seeing any notifications? Been having them for the last 3 days.
Any idea how to see what is causing them/ how to stop them?

Sorry, I can't think of why that would be happening - is there anything in Settings > Battery > Usage Totals that's out of the ordinary?

This time I saw the notification for like half a seconde before it disappeared, "download complete" and than the name of an image file. When I looked for it, it was a file in the folder "...->instabug->usersteps". I'm guessing this is some kind of bug report map? Is there any way to disable this automatic saving of images in that file (mainly, a way to not have random vibrations in the middle of the night?)
    Thank you in advance!

Try going to Developer's Options, then towards the top it says "Get Logs", click that and choose "Delete History Log" and on the same page scroll down to the bottom and choose "advanced" and then "Clear cache"

Is USB debugging enabled on your phone? If so, try disabling it and see if it still occurs

I'm struggling to find any decent results on Google matching with what you're experiencing.

Before you factory reset or anything of that sort, try to clear cache in recovery
