Hey. I was messing about on my 6T and eventually found my QR reader then placed it on my pull down menu. Once I did that I never saw it again. I have just purchased the 8T and as I've done the switch via the app I now haven't got a QR reader on the phone unless I download one.

Could anyone help me with where I could actually find the OnePlus QR reader without having to download a different one.

    Any help would be appreciated

You have google lens in the camera app of the 8T, this can read barcodes and QR codes.

The camera app itself has some Google Lens features inbuilt and they work offline on your device.
You point the viewfinder on the content and a small pop-up appears to open the content.

It works with QR-Codes (URL, Adress, WiFi,..) and it also works with printed text. You can scan a URL, adress or a phone number.

When you long press on the viewfinder, the Google Lens app (internet required) opens with picture you had on the viewfinder. Now you have the full features of Google Lens.

Both methods work with all lenses.

That's the way it works on my 7T with Android 10. OnePlus may changed it with Android 11 (OOS 11).
