821 may not be the highlight, my bet is on that new sensor IMX 398 with 1.55µm pixel size.

No reason not to see parallel updates to OP3 and OP3T.. not too much "platform" differences.. if they release it on 14th with Android 7, I wouldn't be surprised if we get it also on 14th for OP3.

On a side note where is my credit card (seems like HTC 10 is going to a new owner with enough money to buy OP3T if true, and I will be left only with iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung S7 Edge, OP3 and OP3T). Thank you Samsung for burning my Note. ;)

    Fun times

People feel getting ripped, because people like me who bought the device a few weeks ago, and to find a new version will be available soon is major consumer remorse. Imagine going to your local Car dealership and got the Brand New XXX 2016 Model, and 1 month later boom 2017 Model is out without much announcement or anything, and it cost about the same than the 2016 model. Wouldn't you feel some type of way?
And as far as phone, or tech in general, I hope you know companies always prioritize newer devices first when it comes to support, including software updates and what not. OP is no different. Just take a look at the OP2, or OPX people in these forums.

3T might cost around 80 $ more, but if that doesn't affect you I would suggest you to cancel and wait for 3T.

    Thanks for your opinion.

I actually have 15 days to return it after I get it with shipping covered, so I will wait for the 3T price and specs and decide in these 15 days.

So what do you suggest, mandatory fixed product release cycles for all companies, so that owners can feel reassured that they got their money's worth?

New shit comes out, that's the nature of the consumer electronics industry. You can watch from the sidelines or choose to get on the train at a point that suits you, but the train isn't stopping any time soon.

    Choo choo!

I am curious about updates,if they will start to treat a 4 month old phone as not important,it will be definitelly my last phone from them,I dont care it can by OP3+ or OP4 just keep my OP3 fresh devs ;)

Ahhh.... I was hopeing they wouldn't try something like this. Will be intresting to see how they "treat" the old flagship.

We will see what will happen, but at the moment i'm really really scaptic about the development....
