    Hi everyone,

My OnePlus 6 got stuck in QUALCOMM CRASHDUMP MODE.
It was the first time in 17 months after date of purchase. I even searched about this issue in google and shocked seeing the results that Many of OnePlus 6/6t mobiles have this issue.

I would like to know how this problem can be solved.

Hello, a surefire way to get out of Qualcomm crashdump mode is to hold the power and volume up button for 8 seconds to force shutdown the phone, if turning it back on after this does not boot to your operating system, you may have to download the MsmDownloadTool for the OnePlus 6 to a PC which will completely wipe your entire system and reinstall a version of OxygenOS, after doing so I would recommend updating your device as it will likely be behind. I will warn you that this will erase all data on your phone, anything not backed up will not be easily (or at all) recoverable. I am not sure if this is the only method but it is unlikely there is a method that doesn't involve wiping your data. The MsmDownloadTool will have your device up and running again in around ~200 seconds.

Thank you very much for the reply,

But I have a small doubt that,
By doing this, whether the motherboard gets damaged or this
    doesn't effect motherboard.

This shouldn't damage your motherboard, I have entered Qualcomm crashdump mode many times and have used this to escape it. It is a tool that downloads the stock image of the phone and it's partitions and installs it safely. I have never had a fail in the many times I have used it and continue to use my phone with no issues I can confirm the safety of it in my case but it is a widely used tool and I haven't seen any damage from using it from anyone yet.

The above link is a link to the MsmDownloadTool

(To the mods: I'm not sure on the rules of links on the forums, and had searched and could not find the rules on it, I will take it out if I find it is against rules to post links)

Qualcomm isnt a faulty motherboard its known as Emengercy Mode (EDL) used mostly in factory to bulk dump the firmwares/Oos.

    Try going into safe mode.

Hold the Power Button Until Android Starts to Boot Up.

As Soon as Android Starts Booting Up, Let Go of the Power Button.

Then Immediately Start Holding Both the Volume Up and Volume Down Buttons.

Continue Holding Both Volume Buttons Until Android is Fully Booted.

If successful, backup your phone, and do a full factory Erase All Data reset of Android.

    See if that helps.

Yes, if you could get into the menu by using power and Vol down

Or boot using power an volume up at the same time for 15 to seconds. See if you can get into safe mode to backup the phone.

Or if none of that is working try the MSMDownload tool.

Just need to know if you have an OP6 or OP6T as there are different versions of the tool. I can post you details then.

Do This is at your own RISK

You will lose all data on the phone, unless you have a backup synced from previous with Google Photos, Google Drive through your Google account on the phone. Or some other backup.

This link at XDA will point you in the direction to unbrick your OP6 phone.

Please follow their instructions to the letter. Read the posts by other users on XDA for more info

    https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/op6-collection-unbrick-tools-t3914109/amp/

If you are not comfortable doing that, please contact OnePlus directly at the link below for more information. Or bring the phone to an approved OnePlus service center.

Scroll down the page for contact details.
