I was having the same problem. Today I spoke to one of the customer care representatives, he admitted that this is being caused by some software update and I have to get the phone checked by a service center near me. He was suggesting this is an internal software issue. But by looking at other people's comments, I think the motherboard has gone.

Therefore I couldn't understand, My phone was in great condition no scratches, no dents, no custom OS rooting nothing as such and suddenly after an official software update, my motherboard stopped working.

Who should be held responsible for this? Is it us, the customer who did everything to keep the phone safe, or the manufacturer, who rolled out a software patch without any prior testing at the cost of our motherboard (which will cost around 17k if It needs to be fixed).

I have not got it checked by going to a service center yet but as soon as lockdown uplifts, I will get it checked and if there is a problem with the motherboard, I will be highly disappointed with OnePlus.

I will update this thread with more recent updates. Meanwhile, can anyone please let me know, has their issue been fixed yet? if yes, How?

Hey hi, i faced the same issue, crash dump mode, after reading so many forums I thought its waste going to service center or no solution for this.

But my phone got switched on and now am using it
    Here is the method
👉 First on the fast boot mode by long pressing simultaneously power, volume up and down button. Then select recovery mode my pressing down button until you get the menu. Select it using power button. Now you ll go to the screen, select English> recovery> put your password> reboot. Or simply English> exit> reboot
👉 If you are lucky your phone gets immediately after these step, sometimes it gets on and on ..but keep trying.. simultaneously put to charge. Because your battery shouldn't drain. it took 3 days for me.
👉 Again if dump crash mode comes, keep on trying power and vol down. Keep trying, one point it gets on for sure.
👉 Oneplus service centers charges you high and you can't recover your data. But keep trying power and vol down .. please wait patiently. You ll definitely get the phone switched on.

    Hi y'all !!
I have the same trouble with my OnePlus 6. Last week, I have the message "Qualcomm CrashDump" on my device.
I tried with multiples times with MSMDownload Tool but I think my battery is too low.
I don't manage to get in Fastboot Mode or Bootloader, but EDL Mode works.
Do you have some tips to charging the battery.
    Kind regards

I'm now in this loop of Qualcomm Crash Dump. I've got the phone recognized by Msmdownloadtool and i have gone through the cycle twice but when the phone starts again, it goes back to Qualcomm Crash Dump. Has anyone successfully resolved after they still see Crash Dump?

Today, afternoon even I have the same issue all of sudden phone got switch off after few minutes something happened when I checked I had noice Qualcomm Crashdump for oneplus 6.

Unfortunately, oneplus has ditch all users by EOD also I had lose my all data as well seriously guys don't buy any oneplus products. When I had called customer care services they told it might be mother issue or their is minor issues also you won't get your internal data you need to Rs 23200 for 256 varient.

Oneplus is big cynical for customers and a big disaster for India people please don't buy any products.

    1. First camera issues
    2. Internal apps issues
    3. Software maintenance issues
    4. Then phone gets dead by saying on call it is motherboard this was the updated given and. planned.

My last words.. please don't buy this product after two years they are giving unwanted updates and phone gets dead. My curse this company should shut down in few years.

Hi. Just wanted to share this
I recently had the same issue with my op6 it just occurred randomly while i was scrolling through insta and i went to the riverside that day so maybe MAYBE it could be because of water damage. I visited the service centre for this and they told that the motherboard was damaged.
That shocked me because the phone didn’t receive any physical damage. And those services centre guys don’t repair things they just replace them. *funny they call them repair centres* So the cost for replacement of my motherboard was 18,000! Which made me furious for obvious reasons.
That was almost half the price of the device. Obviously I didn’t gave them the phone to repair. Then I went to a local repair shop he insured me that he can fix it and he did in just 2500 rupees. I thought the struggle was over But BUT after 20 days or so the device came up with same issue again and i had no option but to go that same repair shop, i gave him the device again to repair and he did repair it AGAIN for free. But again after some 30 days the device showed me same issue. *Snapdragon Crashdump Mode*. As at that time there was whole lockdown he couldn’t open the shop. But few days back he reopened his shop and I gave him the device he made it work again. Charged 1000 more! (Total 3500). This all may sound so simple *but every repair shop couldn't do it* because i went to like 30-40 shops for this and they wasted almost a month and did nothing just opened the device and closed it back infront of me. And I live in a proper city so i have a lot of mobile repair shops in my vicinity, for someone who doesn’t have special hardware repair shops around him it would be a lot more difficult for him. I found this specialist guy after a lot of research who charged like 3500 total but even who couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it. Idk which one it is…but the misery i felt after paying for this expensive phone and not getting it repaired was a lot so i decided to sell the phone and because I knew the device will again crash so i sold the phone for 11500 at OLX. I’m sorry to inform you but theres no true fix for this condition ig. I’ve also tried flashing the phone it didn’t work either. Go to any nearby repair shop maybe he can help or if your phone is still in warranty then definitely go to the official service centre. Hope this would help. Never buying snapdragon Oneplus again!
