Your contacts are more than likely backed up (if not, you should've already done so) and are completely safe.

You have an option: MSMDownloadTool (AKA "unbrick tool").

The "risk/probability" is 100% but this is why you should've made a backup of your stuff long before this happened.

I don't have that option so I can't attest to its reliability but always make a backup with Google Drive just to be on the safe side.

Plug the phone into a PC or Laptop, see if you can access the files and transfer through that. Picture, DCIM folder, Documents, Download, Music, ebioks, etc all those folders.

Also try booting in Safe mode by starting the phone using volume up and power button, press and hold both for 15 seconds and see if safe mode is an option in the Bootloader. If it manages to boot into that, then try backing up to the computer. Use the charging cable to connect via USB.

If you don't find a Fix, the only solution is to try the steps below, but all data will be wiped from the phone, you may get some back such as contacts and photos, txt, apps etc if you synced your phone account to backup to Google Photos or Drive.

The guide is in the link below, be sure to follow the one for your specific phone OP6. As I said, this will wipe your phone.

Follow the instructions to use the MSMDownload Tool for Oneplus 6.

    https://www.thecustomdroid.com/oneplus-6-6t-unbrick-guide/

Scroll down to view the Unbrick details and downloads.

Download and use the Android version you want TO use to unbrick the phone with for OP6.

Once you have the phone backup and running.

Install OTA updates to get the most recent update.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

For those installing Android 9 only from the above guide.

You must be on at least Android 9.0.9 in order to update to Android 10.

You can then update to the Latest OOS Full Install update file.

Either via OTA or check Latest release thread posts for update links. Or use 3rd party Oxygen updater from PlayStore.

I got that dumb 'Qualcomm CrashDump Mode' in my phone for no reason 29 days ago, I don't stunt with ROM or anything I'm a storage and backups kind of guy, I just overuse each device and that's it, it was about only 50MB free on my phone, I picked it to free space and it gave me CrashDumbbb mode with a glitch+sound. (The Wi-Fi got dead the other day it's 28 days and counting too) I can't work in 1.50GB limits, tried MSMDownloader tool when the error was displayed on screen but then it got into bootloop, I then found out on YouTube that those guys have their bootloader 'unlocked' before using MSMDownloader and I had mine 'locked' and the phone got hard bricked after two days of no use! It gets detected in PC only when it is discharged and does nothing when it's charged a bit, as per the characteristics! My Windows 7 got effed up while trying these things, currenlty at disturbed peace (as you can see from wordss) of 30th day at on Ubuntu! Just why the F I got that
