If you plug it in for an hour at least, it should then be near full charge.

If still not power on with power button alone, press and hold Power & Volume up, it should boot to the Bootloader, if it does, select restart in here and see if it restarts normally.

Leave it plugged in for an hour, you should see a charge icon on the screen when plugged in, even when switch off.

After the hour, unplug it, then press the power button and Volume button at the same time keep pressed for 15 to 20 seconds until it starts to boot, you can now let go the buttons.

Can you update the current status.

    1. Did you install an OOS build on to the phone with the MSMDownload tool

    2. Did it fully install

    3. Did you charge the phone

    4. Is the phone booting normally

    5. Is the Phone booting with Power & Volume up.

    6. Or what is the specific status of the phone currentky

That's very odd. Is it possible there is an issue with the Charger or charging cable. One more thing to check.

Clean the ports on the phone, charger, and both ends of the USB cable with a fine dry toothbrush or non conductive wooden toothpick carefully. Just in case the connections are not being made.

Make sure to plug it into an Electrical Wall socket.

dont think is the issue with slots, as earlier it detects phone when connected, only once it gets disconnected when download is complete.

Have no way to check it, but sometimes lint may get into the ports and the connection may not properly be made.

Also make sure you try an electrical socket to charge the phone and not the laptop.

If it still won't boot after an hour of charging in a socket then you will have to contact OnePlus support directly to see if they have more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for contact and online chat details.

Thanks for your answers but I had used MSMDownloading tool too, I mentioned it above..
Sorry for replying late, I just forget because of this bricked phone stress!
Went to service center as the lockdown ended, they were telling it was a 'motherboard' issue, I won't spend 20k on a motherboard of a 40k phone, plus it was sotfware's issue which got crashed and now it's hard bricked, they said that the phone isn't turning on and it needs to get its motherboard replaced, they might have checked the phone by connecting to PC after a full charge, but in my every latest case, the phone gets detected only in the lowest charging(in almost dead battery, not touched for a day).. Having a secondary - middleman warranty ending on 23rd of June now, which started after the OnePlus' 1 year warranty, in which the guy said this covers motherboard issue too, just fix this broken battery cover issue you have from service center and then check back for our site if motherboard issue comes up..
All I want to say is OnePlus sucked at power usage now, (even when the usage was normal when shit happened).
And yes, the 'talk to customers' staff didn't seem quite professional too for understanding the issue(s).
