    im on umobile and faced the issue you mentioned when i first got my phone.

    i flashed a new modem and since then my signal has never dropped...this is of course for HSDPA+/Edge only as LTE on Umobile is only at subang, puchong and JB

    i believe 4g is available in certain part of PJ as my colleague getting it sometime in the office, just not strong enough (on other phone brand) ;)

    btw i just bought this phone during the apps update, it takes hours and hours to complete. already did factory reset but still the same. should i send to the place where i bought? does it related to the system?
