Can you make the screen itself the fingerprint sensor? (I hope this isn't a stupid question) Just so you don't find your hand in an awkward position trying to reach the lower part of the phone with your thumb since they're fairly big phones.

I love it on the front as it can double as a home button but i would love to have front firing speakers and having both would be difficult so if it is on the back and two capactive buttons on the side of speakers upfront would be better i guess

Makes the phone more expensive, bulkier, harder to develop software and hardware wise.

Will they? I consider myself a geek and I see no benefits from having two fingerprint sensors in the same phone, only cons.

I would recommend the back, because if you think about it, your finger is almost always where the FP would be

The best case would be one front and one back and both using ultrasonic technology for precision & aesthetic reason. I understand compromises have to be made somewhere but still, it would be amazing if it's possible.

I'd rather have it in the front. Sometimes I lay the phone down on the table while watching TV and if the screen times out I don't want to have to pick it up to unlock it because the sensor is on the back.

Having the sensor in the front makes sense to me. It's most accessible when using a protective case. If there is a way to have one on the side w/o changing the depth of the phone that may Be better than the front.
