A fingerprint scanner should always be at the front, because its the easiest to unlock and sometimes you have your phone laying on the desk so a fingerprint on the back or side is useless

The sensor should be on the front the same way as it is on OP2. Many people uses the phone for navigation in the car and if that somehow lock the screen it is more easier to unlock.
I am looking forward for the successor of OPX that has this sensor, If that will roll out I will be the first one who buys one...

Front.. Coz I can unlock without pick up PH.. And can operate on putting table too... So on back is useless in most of cases.. And on side is awkward for me.. And it also increase width

Would it be feasible to have it in all 3 locations? So that if you pick your phone up, then at least 1 finger will land on any of the sensors. In this case you do not have to think, and coordinate your movements to unlock it.

How the **** can people vote for front? That's the crappiest position of them all, not even a matter of taste.

This is easy ... the front placement works really well on my friend's iphone 6s Plus and works wonders in the back of my Nexus 6P ...

A phone with two finger print sensor (front and back) would be perfect for every situation

    Obs
Obviously it should be in front, because most of the time I keep the phone on desk during office and even if people keep the in pocket they wanted it to be in front to unlock it.

    Regards,
    Vignesh

I said Front simply because I think most people like to have a case on their phones, I do and if the finger print sensor was on the back the case would obscure it.

I feel like the front is more in your face and you don't have to search for it so it is better.
