HDR on the phone only makes sense if you can send the content to a TV, I think that's the way it's meant to be, because OnePlus has been flirting with a TV for some time now.

Therefore I would answer with No

Yes, I'm ok with a stub, that cannot be uninstalled, as long as
    1) it's a passive stub, and will not send notifications
    2) it does not have to be on the homescreen.
    3) it comes with a promise from OnePlus that this will be the only stub ever

By the way pointless voting we can't see the results so will never know if people are against it. Just like the English government they will ignore the vote and do what they want...

@Carl do you think the majority of your users is that stupid?
What should an app stub on the homescreen have in common with the HDR features of your devices.
    That's rubbish!!
    I decided "NO"

I second (or maybe 24th that judging by the amount of thumbs up) that opinion. However, what about the apps that come preinstalled on OP devices that can't seem to be uninstalled? Maybe you like their Messages app, but it doesn't play well with MMS.

Anyway, the more stock the better.

Imagine if Google just didn't pay Apple to be the default and it resulted in Bing being the default? I bet a lot of people would learn how to change their search engine pretty quick.

If you "Crack/hack" the bootloader, it will be illegal in many countries. So still a bad idea…

this is A: not illegal, and B: OnePlus's core business thing for many people is the unlockability of the bootloader

Avoiding a security measure is not legal in many countries, and we can see in US, how the core business can change. There ar some other chinese manufacturers who also stopped allowing to unlock the bootloader. Oneplus is no small company anymore, the nerds who wanted an unlocked bootloader aren t the mass customers.
